Module 4 - Diigo

I can see how Diigo will be a very useful tool.  I like the idea of being able to bookmark a site and have it available no matter where I am working.  I especially like the feature of being able to access the site through an app on my phone.  Since this is my first time using Diigo, I am nowhere near proficient, and I have much to learn.  For the grade level that I teach (preschool) this would not be something that they would use.   However, I can see that older student could really benefit from the ability to network with others when researching classroom assignments.  In fact, I will probably show this to my son (soon to be sophomore in HS) because it may be something he would be interested in.  Or perhaps, he already knows about Diigo and I am the one who is behind J
I also think this would be a really neat tool to use in my building.  All of the early childhood preschool classrooms (12) are located at Wayne Township Preschool.  In addition to having preschool classrooms, we also have several childcare classrooms.  A Diigo group could be set up for use with the teachers in my building, and would be an awesome resource for everyone.  Since we have both community preschool classrooms and developmental (special needs) classrooms it would also be a great resource for parents.  In fact, when I return to school in August, I plan trying to do this.
Please check out my Diigo site:

  1. I didn't think about how this could help my teaching team at school. I was only thinking about my students. It would be really cool to share my list with my teammates. I would also like to see what they use.
